Pierre Comtois has been photographing a variety of assignments for the last 20 years.

After studying photography at Dawson Institute of Photography, in Montreal, Pierre moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career.

"I realized early in my career that I enjoyed diversity in my assignments; that is why I can photograph a construction site on Monday, photograph products on Tuesday, photograph an actor for his headshot on Wednesday, photograph a corporate assignment for a brochure and website on Thursday and maybe shoot an editorial on Friday!

I like the challenges of photographing so many different and varied assignments. Some are very technically challenging while others are more about connecting with your subject.

I am constantly working on new projects, and in this day and age of digital everything, there is always something new to learn. It keeps life interesting, it keeps the assignments interesting, it keeps photography interesting."
